Maintenance
The ShipYard
We’ve extended our facilities with the philosophy that our premises
should offer a comfortable, safe and energy-efficient working
environment for both our team and co-makers. To that end, we have
natural light in all areas, spacious meeting rooms and crew offices.
The warehouses and workshops are situated between our two building
halls and arranged on two levels for efficiency.
To meet the operational requirements of a
vessel and comply with classification rules and regulations,
maintenance is crucial. It is also necessary to adapt and extend
the lifetime of the vessel. With our many experienced shipyards and
our motivated and skilled teams worldwide, we always have a suitable
facility available to maintain your vessels in the best possible
way.

With our knowledge and decades of
experience in maintenance of
seagoing and inland vessels,
we are able to take on the most challenging maintenance projects
in the shortest possible time schedules. Our well-trained
employees, in combination with our experienced and reliable
project management teams, are able to perform planned maintenance
work on board of your vessels, the scope of which is established
in line with customer requirements. This always takes place within
a fixed time schedule, with the highest quality standards and
according to budget.
Harbor & voyage repairs
Seabird can offer you a wide range of
harbor and voyage repairs. Our on-site or voyage repairs are
fast, cost effective and meet all regulatory requirements. With
our equipment and flexible personnel we perform all kinds of
harbor and voyage repairs from engine work and steelwork to
propulsion repairs. In cooperation with the Seabird Services
organization we are able to offer our services worldwide.
Harbor repair
Seabird Ship Repair in cooperation
with Seabird Services, operates globally. Our yards carry out
repairs in all neighboring harbors within a range of
approximately 200 km. For locations further away we can offer
repair solutions through our Services Department. Our repair
squads are fully equipped with generator sets, welding
machines and portable workshops. In Rotterdam we even operate
crane barges.
Voyage repair
If necessary we can help our
customers with urgent repairs and maintenance on location or
during the voyage. Our mobile repair crews consist of highly
qualified, experienced, mechanical fitters, steelworkers, pipe
fitters and electricians. They provide a round-the-clock
service to our customers on board, during a voyage, or in a
harbor or dock.
